Spinabbio
is an ancient farmhouse rebuilt in its original rustic Tuscan
style; at seven hundred meters above sea level among age-old
woods of oak and chestnut, it commands a splendid view of
the Val di Chiana. Its particular position allows maximal
relaxation in contact with the nature, as well as evocative
walks and excursions on horseback and mountain bikes (available
at the farm), with guides along trails designated by the
Italian Alpine Club. The farmhouse is built entirely of ancient
stone, and has chestnut beams and brick and stone floors.
Inside we moved some old corner stones, which remain as testimony
to our peasant tradition.
The
farmhouse is divided into four apartments, each with its own
independent entrance. They can be connected by internal doors.
Each has a dining area and an outdoor terrace.
